Our gold​ will not fade, as it is solid gold. However, gold plated​ jewelry will​ fade over time, and affect the color of the jewelry. At Closer, we specifically use 14k/18K ​solid​ gold to provide you with high quality pieces of jewelry that resist time, and can be passed onto generations.

• 14K gold contains 58.3% gold and is highly durable.
  
• 18K gold contains 75% gold and has a richer color.
  Both are resistant to tarnish, making them ideal for fine jewelry.

Recycled gold is not cheaper, as the price of gold is set based on market value.

 Many of our chains and bracelets feature adjustable clasps for versatile wear. Specific product pages list the available lengths. We request you to check your size before ordering.

Size guides (bracelet, necklace, ring) are available on the website. All the measurements follow the standard jewelry metrics. Please shop carefully and confirm the length and dimension of each item before you place your order. You may contact us with any product queries. 

Our made-to-order, direct to consumer model is intentional. It reduces waste, avoids unsold inventory, and allows our artisans the time needed to perfect every detail. It also means we are never pressured to discount unsold stock, giving you complete peace of mind with every purchase. 

We manufacture in India and Dubai and we ship all orders from Dubai, UAE. Our gemstones are sourced from all across the world, and are cut in India and Thailand.

We make it safe, as we select our partners carefully and we take extra measures. All jewels are insured throughout delivery, so you have nothing to worry about. With global online access, we bring you heirloom jewelry once reserved for elite houses — now made personal and accessible.

We communicate with you on your bespoke needs and start the handcrafting process.  Items that are not currently in stock are individually handcrafted and require 2 weeks to be meticulously crafted before they are sent out for certification. Certification usually takes another week. Our products undergo strict quality control to ensure your satisfaction when they reach you. The assembly, sturdiness of lock, stone setting, and polishing quality are inspected to make sure your piece meets our quality standards and a production manager performs a final inspection. But in all this frenzy, what is certain is that we are doing our best to pack and ship it to you as soon as possible.  Our team will remain in touch with you throughout the process of handcrafting your piece till the time of your shipment.

Due to the made to order nature of most of our jewelry, it can  take up to 3 weeks to be shipped. Our team will remain in touch with you and communicate to you the status of shipment. You will receive a notification when your order has been shipped. Post dispatch, UAE shipments will take 1-2 business days to arrive. GCC shipments will take 2-3 business days. International orders will take 3-5 business days.

 Absolutely. We deliver worldwide. Duties and taxes are included for the UAE. For other destinations, customs fees and taxes will apply on delivery. Due to certain economic sanctions out of our control, we may not be able to deliver our products to some countries.

Rest assured, your package is fully insured by us. All shipments are 100% covered, so you can relax knowing your order is protected. 

Because our pieces are often made-to-order, changes may not be possible once production begins. Contact us immediately after purchase, and we’ll do our best. If you need to cancel your order, let us know within 3 hours of placing the order. Orders post that are deemed final.

Yes, we ask for a signature to make sure your jewelry arrives safely.

Contact us immediately( within 24 hours) with unboxing video and photographs and we will sort it out.

We are happy to fix your jewellery piece if it doesn't fit perfectly. If it is an international order, it is difficult for us to offer resizing services but get in touch with us and we will see what best we can do.

We offer e-gift cards that can be redeemed online. At the moment we do not offer physical gift cards but if you have a special request, please do reach out and we might be able to assist.

No, all of our gift cards can be used indefinitely until the voucher has been fully used. 

Our gift cards are non refundable. 

• For cleaning, use only a flannel cloth or the special cleaning cloth provided with your purchase. . The best way to clean and ensure the shine of your gold jewelry is to wipe it, using circular motions. This will easily remove dirt and impurities.
• If your jewelry is lacking shine, contact us and request a special polishing and cleaning.

 Yes. Solid gold is highly durable, and our natural gemstones are selected for daily wear. However, remove jewelry before swimming, exercising, or doing household chores to protect it. Keep in mind that while solid gold is strong, it’s also soft enough to mark with wear. Minor scratches are completely natural and part of your jewelry’s story. Fine jewellery is not impervious to normal wear, activities or trauma. This is particularly true for rings since hands are regularly subjected to considerable abuse. 

Never store your jewelry in bathrooms or any areas with moisture. Store them in a cool, dry place.

Keep pieces separate in an individual jewelry box – to avoid scratching, make sure your jewelry isn’t touching each other.

Use a soft-lined jewelry box or the tarnish-resistant pouch that Closer provides. Avoid using rubber containers.

Store by metal type – keeping different metals apart helps prevent tarnishing caused by contact.Clean before storing. Dirt and oils can cause your jewelry to look dull if left for too long.

The last to get on and the first to get out. These pieces are delicate and deserve gentle handling. When removing rings, always do so from the sides — never pull on the center stone.
